Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde: Finished concept designs

Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde: Finished concept designs

I've finished two final designs for the two main characters using the colour palettes I've made for both of them.

For Henry Jekyll, I used the colours light yellow, tan yellow, icey blue, teal and dark blue. In the book, he is described as a 'man with a stylish cast' so for the design of suit, i looked at a lot of modern day designers takes on men's dess suits, such as Dolce and Gabbanna and Vivienne Westwood.

The colours I used for Edward Hyde's design were vermillion red, scarlet, pastey green, fucsia pink and black. Edward Hyde is usually depicted wearing a scruffy fur coat so I used that in my design for him. I also drew the rest of him in black with transparent outlines to make him look more monstrous and to show that he's the 'negative' side of Henry Jekyll.
